Gone is the anger, that kept us apart;
Gone is the solitude, of an empty heart;
Gone is the darkness, that cloaked the light;
Gone is the loneliness, of a starless night.
We changed our perspective,
which allows us to see.
There’s a better way,
to live and be.
A new mindset,
can change regret.
Provide an outlet,
to help us forget,
Now, life can begin again.
We can breathe again.
And as we hold each other near,
we’ve nothing to fear…
anymore.
